About Us

For years the Devil's Brownie recipe was shared among many of Clare's friends. One day Clare's youngest child, Brian, announced there would be a baking contest at school.

A Turning Point
Mother and son whipped up some brownies and the next afternoon, Brian ran home with a huge smile and his blue ribbon. The judges and tasters were nuts for these sweet treats and everyone wanted to know how they were made. At this point, we realized the brownies were something special. We made a pact to keep it a family secret.

Baking & Selling the Brownies
Soon demand soared for these chocolate treasures. Clare and daughter, Maureen, decided to form Devil Brownies, LLC in 2007 and offered their deliciously evil delights to the world.
